The Roost Reno NV

The Roost was created in 2017 by April Clark, a second-generation Reno native who left corporate America to open the coffee shop she had always dreamed of. Her daughter Gabby soon joined as manager, and the two still work alongside their staff every day, treating regulars like friends and making sure each cup is made with care.

This original location on Booth Street, in the Village Shopping Center near California Avenue, is built for speed with a drive-thru and walk-up window. The menu covers hand-crafted lattes, mochas, chai, cold brew, Italian sodas, blended frappés and smoothies, plus muffins, bagels and daily sweets. Kids get their own little drinks and dogs get special treats, which says a lot about the friendly spirit here. Open from 5:45 AM on weekdays, it is an easy first stop for early commuters across southwest Reno.
