Palmer Distinctive Dentistry is a holistic dental practice in Greenville, South Carolina, led by Dr. John Palmer, DMD. Our approach, often called biological or biocompatible dentistry, considers how dental care affects the health of the whole body, not just the teeth.

Dr. Palmer has practiced mercury-free dentistry since 1995 and is a member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. Our team also includes Dr. Debra Adams, who brings experience caring for children, older adults and patients with special needs.

We offer general, cosmetic and restorative care, including one-visit CEREC crowns, fluoride-free options and laser dentistry. Patients interested in replacing old silver fillings can choose safe amalgam removal following the SMART protocol. Additional services include ceramic and traditional dental implants, clear aligners, sedation, TMJ therapy, sleep apnea treatment and airway-focused care for children.

    I have been Dr. Palmer’s patient since 2014.

    He & his team have always taken excellent care of me. Their office is over an hour from my home but I would not consider going to anyone else. Their practice is truly distinct. They combine cutting edge technology with excellent interpersonal skills to create unsurpassed patient care.

    I had my second appointment but first actual treatment with Dr Sino yesterday and I am absolutely thrilled with how it went. I have recently discovered that my dentist of several years has been neglecting to treat several (about 10) cavities that have been getting worse for a couple of years now. I have been seeing several dentists over the past few months trying to find someone trustworthy, honest, and skilled in their profession. Dr. Sino is all of the above and more. I am so grateful I landed here at Palmer Distinctive Dentistry. The entire staff is so kind and helpful. I had a filling yesterday in a tooth that other dentists wanted to do a root canal on- Dr. Sino was able to treat it effectively with only a filling and I had almost zero pain afterwards. Today it is feeling great and I am confident that she did an amazing job. I will be going back for several visits to have procedures done and I will continue to share my reviews and experiences. Please, if you are on the fence- give them a chance, I really think you will be pleased.

    Finding Palmer Distinctive Dentistry was truly a blessing for me! I broke a tooth and am new to the area. All my neighbors referred me to their dentists who all do titanium implants. I am allergic to titanium!! Palmer does not use titanium. I'm fact, meeting Dr. Sino, who was also the surgeon who extracted my tooth, confirmed for me that I chose the right dental office to come to. All the services that I needed were holistic in nature and she did not push implants. All my procedures went well and without problems. I was also so pleased to find out that they use ozone and recommend IV nutrition therapy for support!! Palmer Distinctive Dentistry follows the lifestyle that I have been searching for! I did not do implants and my appliances are fantastic!! Thank you Dr Sino, Heather, Rhonda and the other staff members who have made my smile beautiful and my heart very happy! ❤️🫶😁
