Coffeebar Mt. Rose Reno NV

Coffeebar began in 2010 in a converted tin garage on a back street in Truckee, California, founded by former ski racer Greg Buchheister after years of importing Italian coffee. It has since grown into a family of cafés in Nevada and California with its own roastery in Midtown Reno, yet the guiding idea is unchanged: the team are hosts first and baristas second.

The Mt. Rose Street café sits in a residential corner of Midtown and brings that Italian café spirit to the neighborhood. Guests come for house-roasted coffee, espresso drinks and matcha, along with scratch-made breakfast and lunch such as paninis, avocado toast and grilled cheese with tomato soup, plus a glass of wine later in the day. Open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with plenty of outdoor seating, it works as a true neighborhood living room.
