Chrome Coffee Works opened in late 2024 in a former house on Pine Street in downtown Reno, a building that once hosted underground concerts. The owners leaned into the address's history with a vintage look inspired by Reno in the 1930s to 1950s, complete with hand-painted signs, warm wood and sunlight that throws shifting shadows across the room. It feels less like a chain café and more like a well-loved neighborhood hangout.

The menu keeps things classic: drip coffee, espresso, cortados, lattes, mochas, cold brew and chai, plus black, green and herbal teas and an affogato for something sweet. Pastries come from Beloved's Bakery, breakfast burritos from Midnight Coffee, and local beer is on tap. With charging ports at every table, steady Wi-Fi and vinyl DJ sets on some Sundays, it is equally good for remote work or a slow weekend morning. Open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
